It is with utmost respect, we announce the passing of Mr. Jerry Lee Henderson , 64, of Tallahassee, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Sunnyvale Cemetery, South Stewart Street, Quincy, FL.
At the request of the Family, there will be no public viewing.
JERRY LEE HENDERSON, whose earthly life began in Quincy, Florida on April 4, 1961, to Robert Henderson and Marie Robinson. His parents, as well as his brothers: Willie Pete and Tony McDonald, all preceded him in death.
JERRY grew up in his native Quincy where he attended the public schools of Gadsden County. He was a 1979 graduate of James A. Shanks High School. Over the years, JERRY held a variety of jobs. He worked at Williams Concrete Construction, Wendy's Restaurant and several lawn maintenance services.
A dedicated person to his children, siblings and extended family, JERRY loved his family immensely. His daughters, grandchildren, sisters and brothers were the centers of his life.
The Lord in His Infinite Wisdom saw fit to call from this life our beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend, Jerry Lee Henderson, who departed this life, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:37 a.m. at HCA Florida, North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his daughters: Gwendolyn Williams and Meagan Henderson; four grandchildren, all of Tallahassee, FL; brother: Oscar (Sondra) Williams of Hephzibah, GA; sisters: Gertrude (David) Bargainer, Houston, TX, Beatrice Williams and Marietta Roberts, both of Tallahassee, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Henderson and to serve the Henderson Family.
