Jerry Joe Hodges, 69, of Quincy, FL passed in Tampa on Friday, April 26, 2024. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Bethlehem Church of God In Christ, Quincy, with burial in Bradwell Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer AME Church, Quincy. Born in Brundidge, AL, Jerry was a 1974 graduate of Shanks High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a professional cook and a devout member of Ebenezer. Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa L. Rosa; sisters: Elaine (Homer Darby) Pierson and Carrie (Reggie Wheeler) Hodges; along with several other relatives and friends. Jerry's parents, Pinkie Lee and Mary Brewer Hodges; siblings: J.W. and Willie Hodges and Ella "Jewel" Pierson all preceded him in death.
