Jessie Mae Stephens Hodges, 74, of Tallahassee passed on Tuesday evening, April 2, 2024. Funeral services are 12 noon Friday (Tomorrow) at Pilgrim Rest P.B. Church, with burial in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Thursday (Today) at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Crawfordville, Mrs. Hodges was the widow of Combat Army Veteran Hodges. She was a retired Cashier (Larson Building) for state government and a devoted Church Mother at Pilgrim Rest. Survivors include her children: Melissa (Shawn) Peterson and Charles (Lynn) Turner; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Freddie (Pauline) Lewis; sisters: Roberta and Mary Louise Lewis and Geneva Stephens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
