Mr. Jimmie Lee Richardson, Jr. , affectionately known as "Bae Jimmie" and "Wolf," was born on October 7, 1943, in Apalachicola, Florida, to the late Willie Pearl Martin and Jimmie Lee Richardson, Sr. He was lovingly raised by his devoted grandmother, Louise "Mama Lou" Richardson, whose guidance and nurturing care helped shape the man he would become. He peacefully transitioned from this life on February 8, 2026, in his beloved hometown of Apalachicola, Florida, at the age of 82.

Mr. Richardson was educated in the public schools of Apalachicola and graduated from Quinn High School in 1967. In 1968, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran. His faithful military service included ten years in the Army National Guard, and he was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.

On January 8, 1970, he united in holy matrimony with Annie Marie Key in Apalachicola, Florida. Their union was one of love and devotion. Mrs. Richardson preceded him in death.

Mr. Richardson dedicated 20 years of service to the Department of Transportation before retiring in 1995. He was also a respected Past Master Mason and a faithful member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. In his leisure time, he found great joy in fishing, cooking, and gardening—simple pleasures that reflected his love for family, fellowship, and the outdoors.  Mr. Jimmie was one who interacted with everyone and invoked good and cheerful banter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Annie Marie Richardson; his grandmother, Louise "Mama Lou" Richardson; and his brothers, Louise Critton and Sebring James.

He leaves to cherish his memory eight children: Amanda of Panama City; Jimmie of Blairstone, Georgia; Charles of Tallahassee; Lisa of Washington; Mary Lee of Apalachicola; Timmie of Tallahassee; Jeremiah of Panama City; and Robert of Tallahassee. his siblings: Eddie Richardson of Port Canaveral; Anthony Richardson of Bronx, New York; his twin sister, Mattye Butler (Ralph) of Opelika, Florida; Mary Brown (Fred) of Apalachicola; and Sonja Richardson of Bronx, New York. He also leaves thirty-three grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; his godchildren, Shicora Bennett, Jeremy Burch, Poosie Val Lattimore, Robert Charles Lattimore, and Janice Pugh; as well as special friends, Fred Brown and Robert Key, along with many other relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish his life and legacy.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Richardson and to serve the Richardson Family.
