John Henry Larkins, 80, of Tallahassee passed on Friday, October 18, 2024, two days prior to his 81st birthday. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, in Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Tallahassee, John grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where he lived until returning to Tallahassee in 1981. He was a retired Custodian Supervisor at Raa Middle School. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing and buying, selling and tinkering with cars. His love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of his devoted wife, Norma Jean Johnson Larkins; daughters: Gaylene Larkins and Tracie (Raymond Jr.) Pandley; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Tyrone Crafter; sister, Bobbie (Charles) Thompson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
