Johnnie Lee Davis, Sr., U.S. Army Sergeant First Class (Retired), 87, of Crawfordville, FL passed at Home on Friday, March 1, 2024. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Burial will follow at 12:00 noon in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Thursday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Sergeant Davis was a career military man, having spent 30 years in the Army. He was a Master Carpenter who enjoyed building, fishing, gardening and joking. He also loved feeding the homeless. Survivors include his wife, Arzella Lewis Davis; son, Johnnie Davis, Jr.; daughters: Janie & Valdena Davis; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Freddie (Eunice) Davis; sisters: Dorothy Lee Gilbert & Verlin Thompson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
