Johnnie Ray Walker, 73, passed on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, at Mt. Hosea M.B. Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Quincy, FL. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Headland, AL, Johnnie spent several years in the Bartow, FL, area before settling in Tallahassee. A hard worker, he worked days at a rental car agency and at nights, for the State of Florida. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed chess, sedoku, fishing and all action sports. Johnnie was a man of great faith, who often testified of the goodness of God. His survivors include his wife, Linda Reese Walker; sons: Anthony and Travis Walker and Tony (Felicia) Threatts; three grandchildren: Marquis and Jayden Walker and Makel Young; brothers: Harold (Sharon) and Michael Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
