Jonathan Mathis, 63, passed on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Everybody's Church, Midway, FL, with burial in Midway Community Cemetery. Viewing-visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mr. Mathis was employed by Florida State University for nearly 20 years. Cherishing his memory are his devoted wife, Linda Anderson Mathis; his children: Antonio (Tomura) Mathis, Leo-Christopher Russell, Jr., Shakara Mathis, Maurice Anderson and Randy Gilbert; six grandchildren; siblings: Cynthia Herring, Cecil (Victoria) Mathis, Hilda (George) Jackson and Tracy Mathis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
