Julia Mae Davis Simmons, 88, of Tallahassee went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, at Skipper Temple Church of Christ Written in Heaven, with burial in Buckhorn Cemetery, Sopchoppy, FL. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Simmons had been a School Bus Driver. She enjoyed watching westerns and game shows, and loved preparing meals and watching others enjoy her cooking. Her love and legacy will live forever in the hearts of her devoted husband, Herman Simmons; daughter, Latoya Harris; sisters: Ruthie Mae Brown and Christine Harris; brothers: Leroy and Edward (Sheena) Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.
