Katie Bell Peterson, 69, of Tallahassee passed on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950). Katie was a 1972 Rickards High graduate and attended FAMU as a Pharmacy Major. She later changed her Major to Clothing and Retail. She had been a Jehovah's Witness and was a longtime Sales Associate at K Mart. Survivors include her daughter, Keisha (Charles Jr.) Crawford; grandchildren: Marquez James, Chelsea, Charles III, Kylan and Mikai Crawford; sisters: E. Sarah Etheridge, Ruby Williams, Lillie Jefferson and Vivian Chambliss; brothers: Seitu Kokayi, Luther (Tina) Peterson and Malcolm Peterson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
