Kenneth Careau Lawhon, 74, passed in Tallahassee on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at White Church Cemetery in Woodville with military honors. A Godby High School graduate, Mr. Lawhon was a decorated Vietnam Combat Army Veteran. He worked at Olin Gun Powder Plant in Construction and as a Groundskeeper at Wright School in Greensboro, NC. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the woods. Survivors include his loving wife, Selena McKenzie Lawhon; son, Casey Lawhon and brother, Bill (Billie Lee) Lawhon. Ken's parents, Shelton and Julia Mae Cartledge Lawhon both preceded him in death.
