LaKieshia Michelle Brown, affectionately known as "Kieshia" was born on November 18, 1976, to Willie Brown and Janice Hooks.  She passed away on March 31, 2025.

Kieshia grew up in Tallahassee, FL where she attended public schools in Leon County and graduated from Leon High School.  Kieshia was a Manager for several restaurants in Tallahassee until she relocated to Baltimore, MD.  While living in Baltimore, she was a Foster Parent.  At the time of her death, she was a Behavior Therapist Technician. On December 24, 2000, Kieshia gave her life to Christ.

Kieshia was a fun-loving person who loved to laugh and have fun.  She loved her children and grandchildren and wanted to see them succeed at all costs.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

LaKieshia was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Drucilla Reshard and Maggie Brown, and grandfather, Sylvester Hooks, Sr.

On Monday, March 31, 2025, God welcomed LaKieshia home for her eternal rest.  She leaves precious memories and her loving spirit to her father: Willie Brown (Barbara), mother: Janice Hooks, her sons: Zion Brown (Asia) and Edward Fishburn, daughters: KeAsia (Andrew) and Nyla Fishburn, sisters: Sharron Walker, Shelby Coggins, Macy and Kyla Brown, grandchildren: Taylor Jefferson, Ava Brown, and Azary Neely.  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
