Lakisha Yvette Nix, 43, of Tallahassee passed at TMH on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Rest P.B. Church, 3727 Woodville Highway, Tallahassee 32305, with burial in St. Peter Community Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Kisha was a 1997 Rickards High graduate and a student (Social Work) at FAMU until her health declined. She was a Regulatory Specilaist II for the Florida Department of Health. Survivors include her daughters: Chastity and Destinee Nix, step-sisters: Bridget and Sheca Nix; mother, Phyllis Groomes; sister, Kantrice Brown; brothers: Chaddrick Groomes and Kenward Brown; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
