Larry Darnell Merritt, 67, of Tallahassee passed on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Old West Enrichment Center. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Larry earned his Business Administration degree from FAMU. He was a manager for Continental Can Company and Kroger Distribution Center and a Financial Advisor for Ameriprise Financial Advisors. Survivors include his wife, Dr. Wilma Harris-Merritt; daughter, Loren Merritt; mother, Mrs. Eva Mae Warren; sisters: Bertha Merritt Williams, Lena Glenn (Allen) Rowzee, Lora Glenn, Bessie (Dean) Codlyn and Melissa Merritt; aunts: Nellie Irene Holden, Clara Merritt and Doris Merritt White; a special cousin, Georgia Joy Bowen; and numerous other relatives and friends.
