Larry Lee "Chuck" Smith III, 33, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Funeral services are 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Old West Enrichment Center, with burial in Sunnyvale Cemetery, Quincy. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born and raised in Tallahassee, "Chuck" had attained his Class A Commercial Driver's License and was planning a career driving commercial trucks. Survivors include his wife, Cleashia L. Blackshear Smith; daughter, Ja'Talya Washington; sons: Ja'Tavious Washington and Kylen Smith; mother, Roberta Lee; sister, Jasmine Smith; brothers: Randy (Gillian) and Kendrick Smith; mother-in-law, Latoshia Wilson; father-in-law, Cleveland (Jecheta) Blackshear, Jr.; nieces: Anaijah, Ava and Teyanni Smith; nephews: Omari and Terrell Smith, Jr. and numerous other relatives and friends. Chuck's brother, Terrell Smith, Sr. preceded him in death.
