Leila Thompson, 81, of Monticello's Lloyd Community passed at home on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at St. Rilla M.B. Church, with interment in Springfield Cemetery, Lloyd. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). Born and raised in Lloyd, Ms. Thompson had been a longtime active member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church. She worked for many years at Artistic Creations (Apron Factory) before beginning a career as a Bus Assistant for Leon County Schools. Survivors include her daughter, Sonja German (Ronald) Jones; granddaughter, Nyla Z. Jones; and a host of relatives and friends.
