Lewis "Disco Louie Louie" passed unexpectedly in Tallahassee on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Graveside services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Barrow Hill (Shady Grove # 1) Cemetery. TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950) is serving the family. Lewis was the sixth of seven children. He was a 1975 graduate of Leon High School and had a great passion for music. He was a well-known Deejay who performed masterfully under the moniker, " Disco Louie Louie" throughout the Big Bend. He worked for several years in Maintenance at FAMU. Survivors include his loving daughter, Deidre Branton; grandchildren, Ryanna Crawford, Ryan and Ryhiem Branton; siblings: Paree "Gladys" Harris, Willie (Stephanie), Raymond & Alphonso "Al" Green, Shirley Hines & Rita Holmes; uncle, Sampson (Jerry) Harris; aunt, Mary Francis Harris; brother-in-law, Elder Articuss Tolliver; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
