Lillie Mae Wooten Zanders, 90, of Monticello's Aucilla Community passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at Shiloh AME Church, Aucilla, FL, with burial in Emory Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday (Today) at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). A Jefferson County native, Mrs. Zanders was a homemaker. She and her now-late husband, Walter Haley Zanders, lived in New York where he was a Chef for over 50 years, before retiring and returning home. She was a member of Shiloh. She had no children of her own; however, she is survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
