Lorenzo Lynn Austin, Jr., 64, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed at home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday (Tomorrow) at Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing is Today (Thursday) 4-6 p.m. at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mr. Austin was a FAMU High graduate and a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to becoming disabled, Lorenzo had been a longtime UPS employee. He was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his longtime companion-caregiver, Linda Carter; brothers: Reginald and Keith (Sylvia) Austin; sisters: Lorraine and Sharon Austin, Tammy and Angela Lockley; aunt, Mazie (David) Crumbie; uncles: Daryl (Wanda) and Richard Glenn; favorite cousin, Cedric "Mickey" Austin; and numerous other relatives and friends.
