Louise Macon , the beloved daughter of Doc and Addie L. Jones Macon, was born on October 10, 1950, in Monticello, Florida. Both of her parents and oldest sister, Elouise H. Livingston, all preceded her in death.
Louise attended the public schools of Jefferson County and graduated in the last high school class of Howard Academy in 1970. After high school, Louise became a caregiver of children. She took care of children in the area which included her own nieces, nephew, and great-nieces. Louise enjoyed Gospel music, cooking, shopping and hanging out with family.
Louise was converted at an early age and joined Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and faithfully served until her health failed. Long years ago, she enjoyed singing in the Choir at Mt. Olive and in recent years, she served as a Stewardess. Louise also served as a dedicated member of the Missionary Society at Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Serving God was a passion she enjoyed. She also was amember of the Sons and Daughters of Joshua for many years.
On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, 5:30 a.m., Stewardess Louise Macon answered the Master's Call and went to rest eternally. Cherishing precious memories of her with heart-felt sorrow of missing her are her siblings: Kattie L. Macon, Hettie (Charlie) Green and Leroy (Maxine) Macon; nieces and nephew she helped raised: Felicia L. Massey, Stacey M. Williams and Kenric M. Green; great-nieces: Stanesha D. Williams, Shoniycia Q. Graham and Sta'jah D. Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Ms. Macon and to serve the Macon Family.
