Lucille Forbes Jones of Monticello's Lloyd Community departed this life on her birthday, April 29, 2024. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at St. Paul P.B. Church. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Jones was a retired Governmental Operations Consultant in Unemployment Benefits for the state of Florida. She was a member of St. Paul where she served in the Kitchen-Hospitality Ministry, Women of Purpose, Scholarship Committee and as a former Choir member. Survivors include her husband, B.J. Jones, Jr.; daughter, Latrishia (Glenroy) Birmingham; son, Broderick Jones; granddaughter, Cameron Ashley; sisters: Gussie (Alvin) Henry and Ella Daughtry; brothers: Henry Forbes and Elder Otis (Veronica) Forbes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
