It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lucille Campbell Williams, 96, of Jacksonville, Florida and Formerly of Greenville, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Viewing-visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026, at J.E. Fralin & Sons Mortuary, 5065 Soutel Drive, Jacksonville, Florida, 32208; (904) 924-9400.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Greater Grant Memorial AME Church, 5533 Gilchrist Road, Jacksonville, FL 32219, with the interment to be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, in New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (Greenville).
A native of St. Marys, GA, Mrs. Williams was the widow of the Reverend Bennie C. Williams, Sr. She was a devout member of Greater Grant Memorial where she had served in various capacities, including as a Stewardess and Missionary. She was a retired school cafeteria attendant, having worked in Madison and Duval Counties.
Among Mrs. Williams' survivors are her sons: Prophet Ronald (Glenda) Williams, Augusta, GA, Bennie C. Williams, Jr. and Levonne C. Williams, both of Jacksonville, FL; daughters: Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Williams Clanton, Dallas, GA, Mamie L. Thomas, Tampa, FL, Annette W. (Melvin) Johnson, Marilyn W. Rivers, and Harriett W. Frison, all of Jacksonville, FL; a devoted cousin: Theodore Campbell and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Preceding Mother Williams to Glory were her parents: Andrew Anderson and Mamie Campbell; husband: Reverend Bennie C. Williams, Sr.; sons: Julian D. Williams and Rev. Dr. Donald Williams (Ronald's Twins) and a daughter: Priscilla Williams Butts.
It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Williams and to serve the Williams family.
