Mack "Candy Man" Norton, Jr., 57, of Monticello's St. Phillip Community passed on Monday, June 10, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at St. Phillip AME Church, with burial in the Church Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at St. Phillip. Mack was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson County High School. He worked at Killearn Country Club and the Florida Lottery (Security). He later joined the Monticello Police Department where he retired as a Captain after 25 years of distinguished service. He was an avid firearms collector and a member of St. Phillip. He is survived by his wife, Natasha Thompson Norton; daughter, Amber Norton; sons: Malcolm and Jacari Norton; granddaughter, Carmen McDuffy; parents, Mack "MC" and Catherine McCray Norton, Sr.; brother, Kendrick Norton; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
