Mae Eva Thomas Lane, 85, of Monticello, FL. passed on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Northside Church of Christ, with burial in Texas Hill Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). Mrs. Lane was a 1957 graduate of Monticello's Howard Academy High School. She had lived in Huntington Long Island, NY for many years before returning home. She had been a Certified Dietician, working primarily in the Nursing Home Industry. Her passion was attending church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Huggins.  Among her survivors are her sons: Willie L. (Crystal) Davis, Shelly (Toni) Lane, Harold (Diedre) Lane, Sr. and Stanley (Nicole) Lane; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and countless other relatives and friends.
