The Reverend Magelean Angen Edwards, 64, of Tallahassee, FL passed unexpectedly on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Homecoming services are 12:00 noon Monday, February 17, at Concord AME Church, with Interment in Hall Cemetery. Viewing is 3-5 p.m. Sunday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born in Leon County, Reverend Edwards grew up on Tallahassee's Northside. She was a Leon High graduate and worked at JC Penney's for over 20 years. She later graduated from Edward Waters College, Jacksonville and ITC Seminary, Atlanta. Most recently, she was serving as Pastor of Mt. Pleasant AME Church, Monticello. Survivors include her daughters: Chere Snow and Tangela Brown; grandson, Antjuan Houston; sister, Bernice (James) Hart; brothers, Curtis (Shirley) Edwards, Eugene (Cassie) and Elmer (Mattie) Forbes; and a host of other family and friends.
