Margaret Ann McPhaul Ward, 74, of Tallahassee passed at home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, at Flipper Chapel AME Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A Quincy native and 1966 graduate of Carter-Parramore High School, Margaret earned her Bachelor's degree from FAMU. She was a retired Administrator with the City of Tallahassee and a devoted member of Flipper Chapel. Survivors include her daughters: Shawn Ward (Terrence) Mathews and Kimika Ward; son, Christopher (Andrea) Ward; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores (Walter) Walker; brothers: Matthew Richardson and Ernest (Eva) Bullock; sister-in-law, Mona Lisa Lee; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
