Martha Faye Newman Glover was the daughter of Robert Newman and Gladys Brooks Newman. She was born in Talladega, Alabama on June 27, 1949. "Faye", as Martha was lovingly called, at about age 12, moved to Tallahassee where she lived with her grandmother. As time passed and she got older, Faye met Raymond Glover and soon thereafter, the two married and began their family. To their union, four children, Raymond "Ray", Jr., Tammy, Carson and Ronald, were born. Raymond established a successful automotive repair business and Faye worked full time as a stay at home homemaker. At only 43 years of age, sadly, Faye's beloved husband and two of their children, Carson and Tammy (Chadwell), all preceded her to Glory. Faye loved pets, but was especially fond chihuahua dogs. There was a time when she owned 27 all at one time. Upon her passing, the count had dwindled down to four. A kind and loving person, Faye was regarded as the glue and fabric who held the family together. On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, God called Faye Home for her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Raymond Glover, Jr. and Ronald Glover; grandchildren: Sean Chadwell, Justin Chadwell, Jessica Chadwell and Cody Ray Glover; sisters: Gloria Jean Holmes, Sandy Gail Seals and Audrey Finn; sister-in-law and friend: Marie (Carl) Stubbs; caregiver, as a daughter: Misty Snodgrass; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Other than her parents, husband and children, Faye was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Robin Newman; and sister, Bobby Sue Newman.
