Mary Alice Blackman, 96, passed on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Funeral services are 12 noon Tuesday, June 4, (Tomorrow) at Philadelphia P.B. Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 Monday (Today) at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Blackman was the widow of Edward Blackman. She was a retired housekeeper for Miami's Victoria Hospital. As a member of Philadelphia, Mrs. Blackman sang in the Choir and served as a Church Mother. She was a ten-year Volunteer at Gretchen Everhart School. Her passion was working with students with disabilities. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Blackman; grandson, Rashan (Tynese) King; granddaughter, Sonya (Scotty) Green; sister, Arimetha Anderson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
