Mother Massota Miller Green, 77, of Tallahassee went Home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Old West Enrichment Center, with Interment in Concord Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A Monticello native, Mrs. Miller was a 1965 graduate of Howard Academy High School and a retired Accountant at the Florida DHSMV. She was a devoted member of St. Paul P.B. Church where she had served as the Church's Secretary, Treasurer, Choir member and Church Mother. She was a talented vocalist and cook who was known for her wedding cakes. Massota leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, France Anthony Green, Sr.; sons: France Anthony (Maicel) Green, Jr. and Shawn Jones; daughters: Toresha Lucille (Sammie II) Warren and Renessa Jeanell (Jessie) Small; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers: Johnell, Bobby (Frances), Roosevelt (Sidney), Harrie (Lovondrea) and Theodore Clifford Miller; sisters: Mozell (Leorris Thomas, Elizabeth Spivey and Carrie (Joseph) Edwards ; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
