Maurice DeShawn Towels, 40, finished his course on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Life Church International, 2633 Hartsfield Road, Tallahassee, 32303, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Maurice was a 2000 graduate of Rickards High School and later attended TCC. He managed a Convenience Store. Cherishing his love are his son, Jalen Towels; daughter, Saniya Towels; parents, Sammy Towels, Jr. and Mary Franklin Towels; brother, Sammy Towels III; a cousin who was like a sister, Kreshawn (James) Walter-Shaw; and a host of other family members and friends.
