Melvern Wint, 81, a man of great compassion and love for his family passed away on November 21, 2023. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, at the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Thursday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mr. Wint had been a U.S. Army Veteran, Payroll Accountant, Editor of the Jamaica Gleaner Newspaper and a Self-Employed Accountant. To cherish his legacy, he leaves 17 children and numerous grand and great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy and fulfillment into his life; his sister, Norma Manning; and countless cousins and loving friends.
