Mia Loyota Harper Jones, 50, of Macon, GA, passed there on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, at Bethpage M.B. Church, with burial in Bethpage Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Bethpage. Born and raised in Clewiston, FL, Mia was a 1993 graduate of Clewiston High School. She furthered her studies at Ross Medical Education Center (2002) for Medical Assistant certification; (2015) at Omnitech Institute to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT). Mia was all about her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and listening to gospel music. She served as a member of Pine Tree Baptist Church. The past few years presented several health challenges for Mia, and she ultimately went Home to be with the Lord. Her love and legacy will live forever in the hearts of her devoted husband, Alex "Jay" Jones; son, King Jones; daughters: Amani Hayden, A'Jah and Audryanna Jones; four grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Jones; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
