Michael Norris Huggins, Sr., 65, of Duluth, GA passed in Atlanta on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday in New Zion AME Church Cemetery, Lloyd. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). A Monticello native, Mike had lived in the Greater Atlanta area for the past several years. Survivors include his longtime companion, Essie Gilley; daughter, Sametra H. (Reginald) Herring; son, Michael Huggins; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; sisters: Janie Huggins, Annie (Barney) Jones and Janice Brooks; brothers: O.C. Barrington, Woodrow (Jacqueline) Huggins and March King; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Archie Huggins and Pearlie Mae Keys Rivers; and siblings: Jacqueline and J.D. Huggins and Willie James Rivers.
