It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Missionary Melissa K. Bryant , 43, of Monticello, FL.

Funeral Services for Missionary Bryant will be held 1:00PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Greater Fellowship M.B. Church, 690 Cypress St., Monticello, FL 32344.

Viewing-visitation will be 4:00PM-6:00PM, Friday, December 12, 2025, at the TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO CHAPEL (850-997-5553) .

Missionary Melissa K. Bryant was born on May 11, 1982, to the late Kenneth Earl Bryant and Kathy Diane Bryant. Melissa embodied a life of remarkable resilience, compassion, and profound impact, inspiring countless lives. Missionary Bryant peacefully transitions to eternal life on Monday, December 1, 2025. Her father, Kenneth Bryant; grandparents: Edward and Sallie Mae Conner, William Bryant, Sr.; uncles: Edward Conner, Jr. and Richard Rooks preceded her in death.

As a proud alumnus of Jefferson County Schools, Class of 2001, Melissa's determination led her to achieve great success in various pursuits. Though her path took an unexpected turn when she became disabled, Melissa's unwavering spirit and passion for cooking empowered her to continue making a meaningful impact, sharing her favorite hobby with others by cooking and selling dinners from home.

Guided by her faith and inspired by the late Apostle Anthony Sanders visionary leadership, at Miracle Temple Ministries. Melissa's tireless efforts as a dedicated Missionary at the Monticello House of Prayer, under the mentorship of the late Elder Herman Walker and currently Apostle Oscar Jackson, have left a lasting legacy, radiating love, hope, and positivity that will forever inspire and uplift generations to come.

Melissa leaves behind a legacy of love through her mother: Kathy Diane Bryant; her siblings: Lafrenchee Conner Jones and Ladarius Bryant; neice: Morgan Jones Nep-pup Maxy Jones, and a Godson she raised as her own Maurice Zellars; aunts: Betty (Lucy) Conner, Doris (Ricky) Andrew, Janet Rooks, Doeneatra Conner, Delma Conner, Jeanette Brown, Queen Crumitie, Annie Jones, Mary (Betty) Conner, Evon (Minnis) Dobson, Sandra Bryant, Debra (Willie) Linder; uncles: Clarence (Evy) Bryant, Ron (Dorothy) Bryant, William (Celeste) Bryant Jr.; paternal grandmother: Beulah Bryant; godchildren: Paris and London Rooks, and True Coasey; godmother: Johnny Hill; godsisters: Anita Humose and Anna Browning; godbrothers: Jessie Banks, Pastors Patrick Weaver, Ornell Edwards, and Johnny Fudge, Jr., and the entire House of Prayer Ministries, a host of cousins, relatives, and countless friends, who will miss her dearly. Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit will forever live on to all who loved her.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Missionary Bryant and to serve the Bryant Family.
