Montel Charles Howard, 31, of Tallahassee passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Viewing-visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday, April 28, at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Burial will be in Oakfield Cemetery, Monticello. Born in Gainesville, FL at Shands Hospital, Montel grew up in Tallahassee. He was a true outdoorsman who was fun-loving and athletically-inclined. He loved the woods and everything that came with it. He also fell in love with Jefferson County, his father's hometown. Given that, it is most befitting that his burial will be there. Among his survivors are his father, Maxwell Howard; siblings: Darryl (Audrey) Kelly, Marcia Howard (Sam) Grace and Marhonda Howard (Dwayne) George and several other loving family members and friends.
