Monty O'Hara Greene, 79, of Tallahassee passed in Albany, GA on Friday, January 12, 2024. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at the Old West Enrichment Center. A 1962 FAMCEE (FAMU) DRS graduate, Monty earned his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Howard University. He worked in Jacksonville for Reynolds, Smith & Hills and for Off-Shore Power Systems. He later moved to Riviera Beach where he worked for United Technologies, Pratt-Whitney Aircrafts. He was also the owner of Greene's Home Repair. Survivors include his ex-wife and mother of his daughter, Maria Greene; daughter, Mona (Michael) McCoy; grandchildren: Madison and Myles McCoy; brothers: Arnett (Claudette), Dr. Frances "Bailey" (Marie) and Dayle (Patsy) Greene; sisters: Faye (Booker) Daniels and Carmena (Donald) Bostic; sister-in-law, Alma Greene; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
