Mother Pauline Jackson Williams was born in Crawfordville, Florida on April 4, 1929 to George and Alice Jackson. Pauline was the third of seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: James Eddie; and sisters: Larcenia, Lillie Mae, Pearlie Mae and Grata Rebecca.

Pauline grew up in a loving and nurturing family in a rural setting near Crawfordville, Florida, until her father decided to move the family to Tallahassee in 1939. Pauline was born into a large family of seven children, whose parents believed in working hard, serving God and community. She accepted Christ as her Savior and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at the very tender age of eight years old at a First Born Church Of The Living God in Crawfordville, Florida that her father and mother started.

Pauline was educated in the public schools of Wakulla and Leon Counties in Florida. She attended the original Lincoln High School. She was a domestic worker until she decided it was time to make a change. She got her GED and attended Alice Melton Cosmetology School. After graduation, her profession was a state licensed Beautician for 30-plus years, working at Adam and Eve and Lion Mane. Her clients were multicultural.

From an early age, Pauline especially enjoyed attending church services with her family. She often traveled with her parents and siblings to various church services throughout Florida, Georgia and the East Coast. She worked tirelessly in her local church, in the District, Diocese and National Church of Christ Written in Heaven (COCWIH). The many different capacities in which she served includes: the church drummer, Choir member, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, annual Sunday School Program Director, Church Solicitor, Assistant Prayer Band Vice President, Church Secretary, Shepard Aid Mother, Samaritan Daughters President of the Tallahassee Diocese and Tallahassee #1 COCWIH Board member.

Mother Pauline was well-known for her rousing testimonies, praise and worship, shouting under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and especially breaking out in praise songs. When you saw her, she was in her stylish church wear, which was adorned with the most beautiful hats. Her greatest joy was nurturing and bringing up her three sons into adulthood: George Nathan Jones, Clarence Rivers and Naymon Rivers. All three of which are members of Tallahassee #1 Church of Christ Written in Heaven.

Mother Pauline was the devoted wife of George Williams until his death in 2008. Mother Pauline Williams will be remembered for her commitment to God, her family, and for her support to all the Church of Christ Written in Heaven throughout the National Church body.

On Monday, February 16, 2026, God summoned His servant daughter, Mother Pauline Williams home for her eternal rest. Her love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of her sons: George Nathan (Betty) Jones, Clarence (Dorothy) Rivers and Naymon (Alline) Rivers. She was a proud grandmother to Parnell (Dr.Lisa) Jones, Deon Jones, Derrick Jones, Antar (Monique) Rivers, Tahir Shomari Rivers, Keno (Robyn) Rivers, Shango (Shana) Rivers and Kahliah (Christopher) Brown; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one great-great-great grandchild; loving sister: Susie Ruth Jackson Williams; twin goddaughters: Tesa A. Hickman and Tahirah A. Singleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing church family and friends.
