Mother Bertha Parker Finley

Mother Bertha Lee Parker Finley, 79, of Monticello's Wacissa Community, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Mother Finley was a graduate of Howard Academy High School and was retired from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. She was a longtime devoted member of Bethpage Missionary Baptist Church where she served diligently in several capacities. Out of all church activities, she was really involved with teaching Sunday school. In her leisure, she enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with family.

Viewing-visitation for Mother Bertha Lee Parker Finley will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Bethpage M.B.Church

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00am at the Bethpage Missionary Baptist Church, Wacissa, with the committal concluding at the Bethpage M.B. Church Cemetery.
