Nathaniel Gilyard, 74, of Gainesville, FL passed there on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Funeral services are 12 noon Saturday at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950). Burial will follow in Midway Community Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Tillman's. A Quincy native, Nathaniel had lived at the Tacachale Center in Gainesville most of his life. Survivors include his sisters: Margie Jackson, Mary Dixon and Geraldine Daniels; his caregiver, Reverend Eric Baker and his family at Tacachale and numerous other relatives and friends.
