Oscar Williams, Jr., 94, of Tallahassee, FL, transitioned on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 Wednesday, June 21, at Hickory Hill P.B. Church. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Tallahasee National Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born on June 8, 1929 in Leon County, Mr. Williams was a Korean War United States Army veteran, longtime Miami, FL resident and Chairman of the Deacons' Board at Hickory Hill. He was a retired carpenter and machine repairman. Survivors include his sons: Timothy, Jonathan David and Myron Williams, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters: Inez Williams, Thelma Sloan, Daisy McKinney and Carolyn E. Walker and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
