Mrs. Pearl Grant Simmons, 100, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2023. Homecoming services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive P.B. Church, Lamont, with burial in Mt. Olive (Walker) Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at the Church. TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). Mrs. Simmons was Mt. Olive's oldest and longest serving member. She had worked in the Nursery Industry for many years. Survivors include her daughters: Delores Brooks, Maude Hodge, Lilly Simmons and Minnie Pearl Simmons; sons: David (Betty), Albert (Lillie Mae), Billy, Johnny Lee and Willie B. Simmons; 24 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grands, other relatives and friends.
