It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Mrs. Phyllis D. McDowell , 60, of Tallahassee, Florida.

Mrs. McDowell worked as a devoted housekeeper for several area hotels, including the Ramada Inn, Howard Johnson, and Rodeway Inn. Mrs. McDowell was totally devoted to her loving husband, daughter, granddaughter and her siblings. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching soap operas.

Viewing-visitation for Mrs. McDowell will be 4:00PM - 6:00PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL .

Homegoing service for Ms. McDowell will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950), with Interment to follow in the St. Peter Community Cemetery (Woodville).
