It is with heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Renard Glenn , 52, of Tallahassee, Florida, who departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Viewing-visitation for Mr. Renard Glenn will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE CHAPEL (850-942-1950) .
The Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Beth Page Missionary Baptist Church, 379 Beth Page Road, Monticello, FL 32344, with the interment concluding in Beth Page Church Cemetery.
RENARD LYNDELL GLENN was the son of Terry Presley and Naomi Glenn. He was born in Thomasville, Georgia on September 6, 1973. His beloved mother passed on September 11, 2025.
The oldest of four children, RENARD was greatly influenced by the tutelage of his maternal grandparents, Amos and Celia Parker Glenn.
RENARD grew up in a God-fearing environment and attended his family's home place of worship, Union Hill African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church. His family was very active in most ministries of the church and, consequently, young RENARD followed their lead. He attended the public schools of Jefferson County and played varsity basketball during his junior and senior years. He was a 1991 graduate of Jefferson County High School. Following graduation, Renard entered the workforce; eventually becoming an accomplished cook. He cooked for Village Inn Restaurant on Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee.
RENARD didn't regard cooking as work; he regarded it as his hobby given that he enjoyed it as much as he did. As his vision diminished, he was forced to retire from employment. RENARD eventually lost all of his sight; however, he remained extremely independent and lived alone and cooked for himself daily. He still enjoyed sports and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and Florida State University football fanatic.
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, God called BROTHER RENARD LYNDELL GLENN Home for his eternal rest. His love and legacy will last forever in the hearts of his daughter: Jermiesia Glenn; father: Terry Presley; sister: Kimberly Glenn (Tyrone) Brown; brothers: Elton Thompson and Teddrick Glenn; godson: Greg Fishburn, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Glenn and to serve the Glenn Family.
