Mrs. Ruby Wester Barkley , 90, of Jacksonville, formerly of Tallahassee passed on Monday, March 20, 2023.. Funeral services are 12 noon Friday (Tomorrow) at Family Worship and Praise Center, 1609 Branch St., Tallahassee. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Thursday (Today) at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A Havana native, Mrs. Barkley was a retired Switchboard Operator for FSU. Survivors include her son-caregiver, Omega Thompson; son, Willie Jones; daughters: Deborah Wester Ruffin and Jennifer Barkley; sister, Janet Wester; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
