Ruby Mae Butler, the longest living member of the Butler family passed a few hours prior to her 97th birthday on Friday, September 15, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive P.B. Church # 2, Crawfordville, FL, with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). She had worked many years as a cook at the Wakulla Springs State Park Lodge. Ruby loved cooking and impacted the lives of countless children while working with local After School Programs. Cherishing precious memories are her one loving son, Edward (Nancy) Jackson; six grandchildren; one sister, Lola (Willie) Baker; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
