It is with heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mrs. Ruby Mae R. Jackson , age 85, of Greenville, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Viewing-visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 154 SW Ray Charles Avenue, Greenville, FL 32331.

Homegoing Services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 389 SW Ray Charles Avenue, Greenville, FL 32331, with the burial to follow in Wigginsville Church Community Cemetery, 5917 SW Moseley Hall Road, Greenville, FL 32331.

Mrs. Ruby Mae Raymond Jackson was born on May 13, 1940, in Greenville, Florida, to George and Lucille Raymond. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Ulysses Jackson; daughter: Gwendolyn Raymond; and parents.

Ruby Mae was educated in the Greenville Public School System and was known throughout her life for her quiet strength, warm spirit, and unwavering love for family. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and faithfully attended Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life.

Ruby Mae was united in marriage to Ulysses Jackson, and together they shared many cherished years. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who was employed with Martin Electronics in Perry, Florida, where she worked faithfully until retirement.

Above all else, Ruby Mae treasured her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose home and heart were always open to those she loved. She especially adored her three great-grandchildren whom she helped raise and loved dearly. Her nuturing spirit, wisdom, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

On Monday, May 4, 2026, Ruby Mae Raymond Jackson peacefully entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love and memories of a life well lived. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her devoted daughter: Joyce Wells of Greenville, FL; granddaughter, Tara Wells; and her special great-grandchildren: Samaya Wells, Kaiden Brennan, and Kaius Brennan, all of Tallahassee, FL. She also leaves behind her bonus daughter: Melva Batts of Jacksonville, FL; bonus son: Jerry (Kristie) Alexander, Sr. of Live Oak, FL; bonus grandchildren: Alexandria Jackson, of Jacksonville, FL, Jerry Alexander, Jr., Devin Alexander, both of Madison, FL and Jarrett Alexander of Valdosta, GA. Ruby Mae also leaves behind three lifelong and cherished friends: Hattie Bell, Orlando, FL , Linette Woodson, Tallahassee, FL  and Annie Jane Blalock of Perry, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many dear friends.

Mrs. Ruby Mae Raymond Jackson's legacy of love, kindness, faith, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Jackson and to serve the Jackson Family.
