Sherri Pryor Houston was born in Tallahassee, Florida on April 26, 1983. She was the daughter of Johnny Pryor and Jeanette Bryant.
As a child, Sherri grew up on Tallahasse's southside where she attended the public schools of Leon County. Among those schools, she attended Nims Middle School and Rickards High School. She graduated from Lively Vocational Technical School with her high school diploma. She continued her education by attained her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Since 2013, she was employed as a licensure processor with the Florida Department of Health, Office of Dental Hygiene Licensure.
During her leisure, Sherri enjoyed eating, traveling, shopping and keeping her hair and nails in perfect condition. While she did not hold membership in any one church, she was drawn to often attend St. John Missionary Baptist Church where Elder Ervin Montgomery is the pastor. Sherri met her husband, Brandon Houston in 2005 and on March 23, 2017, they became husband and wife.
On Friday, August 21, 2020, God Almighty summoned Sherri Home for her Heavenly reward. While her passing has town her family, they find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the bosom of her Savior. Her love and memory will remain always with her family including her devoted husband: Brandon Houston; sons: Kha-Mari Burnley, Josiah Houston and Keyotte Shaw; daughters: Brashel Houston and Cimya Houston; mother: Jeanette Bryant; father: Johnny Pryor; maternal grandmother: Allene Baldwin, all of Tallahassee, FL; and numerous other loving family and friends.
