It is with heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mrs. Shirley B. Addison , age 84, of Tallahassee, Florida, who departed this earthly life on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Viewing-visitation will be Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 133 Freeman Rouse Road, Wewahitchka, FL 32465.

Homegoing Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church., with the interment to follow in Williamsburg Cemetery, Williamsburg Road, Wewahitchka, FL 32465.

Shirley Baker Addison was born on December 13, 1941 in Wewahitchka, Florida to Oscar Baker and Rachel Barnwell Baker of Stone Mill Creek. Both of her parents preceded her in death.

Shirley departed this earthly life on Friday, March 13, 2026 in Tallahassee, Florida.

Shirley leaves to mourn her passing and cherish precious memories, her two daughters: Carolyn (Ben) Ranie and Angelia (Isiah III) Jones; adopted daughter: Melody (Tim) Williams; two sons: Larry (Georgeann) Baker and Zebede (Lora) Addison; grandchildren: Courtney, Ashley, Ryan, Byanna, Desmond, Sha'naiya, Rashard, Devonte and Alena; nine great-grandchildren; special niece: Rachel Myers; godchildren: Willie Hill and Batina Yarrell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

It is our esteemed honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Addison and to serve the Addison Family.
