Shirley Eva Mitchell Parker, 72, of Tallahassee passed on Friday, August 15, 2025. Homegoing services are 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30, at the Old West Enrichment Center, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Parker was a 1974 graduate of Lively Vocational-Technical School. She retired from the Florida DHSMV where she certified and reconciled traffic citations. She was a dedicated member of Christ Gospel Church of Cairo, GA. Shirley is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Willie James Parker, Sr.; son, Willie James Parker, Jr.; grandsons: Willie James Parker III, Darius Brown, Sr. and Trevis Glasco, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
