Stewardess Mary Lizzie Franklin Hunter, 90, of Tallahassee departed this earthly life Monday, August 4, 2025. The Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, at New Mt. Zion AME Church, with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday, August 8, at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Mrs. Hunter was a former Dietary Aide and the beloved Matriarch of her loving family. Survivors include her children: Coslowe Hunter, Sandra Randolph, Bridget Washington and Vivian Dean; 8 siblings; 17 grandchildren; and a host of loving great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
